Bee2 Bhangra
Bee2 deftly fuses his Punjabi folk and classical training with tumbi and strong bass lines. From working with Bombay Dreams in the West End and the successful Sound Pipe Records, Bee2 comes to Croydon to share his innovative and energetic sounds at the Croydon Mela.

Dhol Academy
The Dhol Academy are young men and women from East London bringing the ancient celebration of Dhol drums from the courts of the Monguls to Lloyd Park. Listen and watch as the drummers excite with their explosive sound on stage and playing around the Festival.

Khan Brothers Qawwali
Once again this powerful qawwali vocal group will delight with their interpretations of ancient Islamic and Sufi texts and careful instrumentation. Relax in the intimate atmosphere of the Classical tent to see these masters at work.

Swami Desi Rock
Known for his originality, DJ Swami’s live show combines the futuristic desi bhangra influences of the Indian sub-continent and the hottest electronic beats and alternative hip-hop. After his ground breaking work with Apache Indian, DJ Swami is using his award-winning production on his own solo album, due for release this year.
